Michael Brian Reed. Many Methods, One Goal: To Communicate.
This movie is of my PowerPoint talk about how I communicate. I gave it at college in February to help my teachers know how to help me, and it is my late entry to International AAC Month 2009.

Michael Brian Reed, Andrew Murray, Gemma Coils, and Robert McNicholas, The Language Stealers: A Story of Attribution!
Language Stealers is a story of attribution, exposing the real barriers to communication for students with speech and motor impairments as being more to do with the situation they find themselves in than anything to do with their disposition. If nobody gives us a way to say or write the core words, or only gives us lesson nouns to go on class worksheets but no literacy instruction, then how dare they attribute our language delay to lack of ability?

Michael Brian Reed, Andrew Murray, Gemma Coils, and Robert McNicholas, Word Wall Bingo.
Word Wall Bingo is to help users and their facilitators learn where the words are on our displays, foster word recognition and sentence building skills, and prove which few hundred words are essential to everyday communication. Another activity, to prove how much can be said with just a few core words, is to choose a scene, add actors and props, and see how much you can say using only or mostly the high frequency words.

Michael Brian Reed, Andrew Murray, Gemma Coils, and Robert McNicholas, Equality Without Words.
This movie is our campaign presentation that I gave to Big Challenge in December and the Learning Disability Parliament in February. We built this presentation on Gail Van Tatenhove’s Pixon Project research and our own personal experience.

Gregory Panayiotou, Let's get to know each other: A few things about me! (in Greek)
For many years I had no way of communication. In 2004 I started using clicker software on a laptop with a switch. This did not prove effective for me. Some years later I found out about eye control. And know I have MyTobii with The Grid 2. I am very happy with it and I am amazed with technology! This presentation is part of something that I presented at school - just before graduation this year - and once at some University students. The movies has been filmed at my place in my room. Pictures and other clips are from several moments of my life.

Adil Imran Sanai, Finding a Voice through Technology.
Adil Imran Sanai was born in Raza Abad village in the city of Okara, Pakistan. At the age of 14 he moved to the United States with difficulties in his ability to walk and to verbalize. At 26, Adil is now travelling independently and working part-time several days a week in a large department store to contribute to his household. He does all this with the aid of a handheld, Saltillo ChatPC Silk+ communication device and the ambition of a working man. Adil and his family remain deeply rooted in tradition and have found a community with which to reconnect to their home. He plans to visit Mecca in November and from there he knows his device will help him anywhere he chooses to go.
The video is about a day in Adil’s life at AHRC New York City Queens Workshop and at his job-site. Adil wishes to thank Maria Hubbard, AHRC New York City Employment Skills Coordinator, and Eric Martinez, who assisted in making this video.
